Indian students are attracted to the one-year master’s and three-year undergraduate course (except Scotland) in the UK.  Shorter duration of courses, as compared to other countries means saving time and money.  Students can also take advantage of the Tier 1 (Post Study Work) scheme which allows students to stay in the UK for up to two years to take employment without needing a work permit.  International students get discounts for travel, entertainment and health care which is free or subsidised.  All these factors make the UK a very attractive destination for students.
