Indane Gas booking lines open 24X7 in Bangalore

Bangalore Indane LPG consumers can book a refill via interactive Voice Interactive System anytime during the day

All prayers seem to be answered for Indane LPG consumers in Bangalore. Now there will be no worries of standing in long queues, holding on to the telephone lines for booking or running after the delivery boy for an LPG refill. Indian Oil Corporation (Indian Oil) has introduced an automated Voice Response system (IVRS) for booking LPG refills in the city.

All 58 Indane outlets will have this facility. Not only bookings but complaints are also registered 24x7 in the IVRS. Consumers can simply dial 8970024365 to avail the service. Registered consumers can type “REFILL” and send it to the IVRS .The system will respond via SMS with various details like booking number, refill readiness and confirmed refill delivery. The new users register themselves dialing the same number following instructions on the IVRS for registration and then booking.

A multi-functional regulator (MFR) has also been introduced by Indian Oil which has features for increased safety. It is an enhanced user friendly application which would replace the common domestic pressure regulator. It has different safety applications like complete excess flow shut off, child lock and leak detection mechanism. It also has besides flow recharge plunger, a low level indicator with electronic or analog display. For any further queries you can get in touch with the distributors or call Indian Oil Customer Service on numbers 080-22130421 or 22239473

Welcome move by IOCL.
But the apathy remain same. the refill is not delivered at door step even after 7/8 days of booking through IVRS.  the very purpose of introducing the IVRS system to reduce the time period is thus defeated
what about giving sms info of delivery status of refill
The agency tell to book the refill only after 27 days of the last refill delivered. Does it mean that a refill of 14.2 kg last for morethan 35/40 days of a average family of 4/5 members??
Ridiculous.

Your Information provided is useful. You have to know the telephone number of your agent before you call IVR no as this has to be keyed in followed by your consumer no.So first times dial with these 2 inputs.

As expected IOL numbers were "busy', "under conversation".Could you provide inputs [cost/how to book etc} for obtaining a MFR
