Green Coffee will help you lose over 2 kilos in a month!

Want to loose weight? Drink green coffee daily, says a new study. Green Coffee also keeps diabetes and cholesterol in check.

If you want to lose a few kilos quickly
without having to go on a strict diet then Green Coffee is for you. Researchers have carried out the study and found that chlorogenic acid from green coffee causes significant levels of weight loss - the drink works by reducing sugar absorption from the gut and speeding up the rate at which fat is burned.

In a four-week trial assessing Green Coffee, the researchers found that those who drank one cup a day lost 1.5 kgs in two weeks and over 2kgs in a month. That compares to drinkers of standard coffee, who on average lose just 0.3lb in two weeks compared to those who drink no coffee at all.

Green coffee is similar to green tea. In its raw, unroasted form, it is rich in plant molecules that speed metabolism and aid weight loss. These molecules of chlorogenic acid are strong antioxidants and appear to have other health benefits too. In fact, this is also supposed to help people suffering from diabetes.

Coffee Shape - the makers of a new green coffee that contains a blend of unroasted coffee and roasted Arabica beans claim it could help users lose over two kilos in a month without any other dietary changes. Drunk every morning before breakfast, each 3g sachet of Coffee Shape contains six to ten per cent of chlorogenic acid, a natural plant compound in green coffee that acts as a slimming and health promoting substance.

Coffee Shape's Slimming Green Coffee ingredients are simple: high quality green coffee beans and a blend of roasted coffee beans to enhance your drinking experience. Green Coffee contains antioxidants. There are no other ingredients. Just Coffee!

Nescafe has also brought out a blend of green and roasted instant coffee that it says is naturally rich in ‘health-supporting antioxidants’.

What is green coffee?
Green coffee beans have been proved as an antioxidant. An extract of green coffee beans has been found to have a stronger antioxidant effect than established antioxidants like green tea and grape seed extract.

One of the most important advantages of green coffee is that they avoid the negativities of coffee. It includes the chlorogenic acid is thought top boost the metabolism by changing the way glucose is taken up by the human body. Not to mention it does contain the caffeic acid which gives a kick to your energy levels like the normal coffee.  Coffee contains cafestol which is diterpene and gives real bad cholesterol but the case with the green coffee beans. They don’t contain any cafestol and hence balances cholesterol.

Health benefits of Green Coffee?
The other benefits of green coffee include; it acts as an effective painkiller especially for migraine medications and reduces risk of diabetes. And assist the body to burn at higher proportion of lipids–fats compared to carbohydrates, which could help with muscle fatigue for athletes and bodybuilders. The active constituent in coffee that is responsible for its many health benefits is a compound called chlorogenic acid which neutralizes free radicals, Chlorogenic acid also helps regulate metabolism. Compared to green tea and grape seed extract, green coffee bean extract is twice as effective in absorbing oxygen free radicals.

Hi all I have a coffee tree in my yard and always collected the beans but never roasted it and that is all that green coffee is. As for the taste it is actually  very pallatable with the taste of raw nuts with a hint of coffee flavour. When you mix it with filter coffee you don't taste a thing. I take mine on it's own and really enjoy it.
