A workshop on ‘Speaking with Confidence’
This workshop aims to create awareness among participants about some of the skills we need to speak confidently in familiar situations.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Opening and starting a conversation
- Paying attention to introductions and addressing people correctly
- Making and responding to social invitations
- Expressing thanks and replying to them
- Pronouncing names, places and products in English
About the facilitator:
Dr. C.L.N. Prakash is a Training Consultant and works very closely with the British Council and Cambridge ESOL and has over three decades of unique combination of experience as a trainer, facilitator, teacher, administrator and author. He brings a depth of experience, having taught at the undergraduate and the post graduate levels. He trains Corporate in Business English, trains Trainers and teachers. He writes for the Cambridge University Press and some of his recent publications are 'An Advanced Course in Communication skills" and ' A Course in Communication skills’.
He has been on the Visiting faculty of top Business schools like the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and the Centre for Executive Education, TAPMI. He has delivered training at a number of organisations such as Wipro, Mysis, ABB, ANZ-IT, BPL India, Astra Zeneca, Monsanto, Aptech, Cisco Systems, GE Electric, Perot Systems, Sun Micro Systems, Honeywell, Trigent Software, Infosys-BPO, AOL, Curam Software Pvt Ltd., Ernst and Young and Vodafone.
