Living up to its sobriquet of pub city,
Bangalore saw the opening of another lounge bar recently. The  F-Bar and Kitchen located at Ali Askar Road Off Cunningham Road presents a contemporary, cutting-edge design fused with old-world heritage with a touch of a natural ambience. The 17,000 sq.ft property is built preserving folia ageing 100s of years, aiding natural light to seep into the modernistic lounge area. The lounge has a live bar that boasts as being the longest (64ft) bar in South India.

Other highlights are a 25ft high projection of cascading waterfalls on the side, an unconventional ramp strategically built to circle the property, and an exquisite fine-dining restaurant of 5-star quality. With the performance arena where in all ranges from Stand-up comedy, live jazz routines to electronic punk rock will be put up and a Ramp that will showcase Fashion shows and fashion previews, by cutting edge artists from around the globe, F-Bar and Kitchen ensures an experience that would cater to one’s most fanciful imagination.

The Lounge bar will offer authentic cuisine from all over the world . From Brochetta (Spanish skewered meat)to Cassoulets (French skewed navy beans with duck confit and pork sausages), the Provencial Rack of Lamb and the Cheese Platter(assorted variants of cheese), the Menu boasts the most exotic cuisines by an international Chef. With well-stocked wine lists, 35 brands of single malt, well-trained mixologists, and the exquisitely paired wine and food, the cocktail delights have just begun.

“We have frankly discovered a void in the F&B Industry in Bangalore. There are Night Clubs, there are Lounges and there are Fine-Dining Restaurants. With F-Bar and Kitchen, we are looking at providing everything under one roof with an additional experience of grand entertainment. Bangaloreans, as a rule, appreciate good food and wine and we are excited to provide them with a service of world-class quality that they can’t deny,” said Satya Sinha and Arun Avadhani, the promoters F-Bar and Kitchen.
