Come July and it starts raining discounts
in the city making the shopaholics go crazy! And it is indeed one of the most awaited months in every fashionista’s calendar (albeit December) when the spring summer sale paints the town red by increasing the percentage of discounts every other weekend. While most of the sales at the stores begin with a 20% to 30% discount, it later shoots up to 50% to 70% giving the consumers a chance to buy their pick at extremely affordable prices. There are a few stores who also run a silent sale for a few days where only the loyal customers get a sneak peak to it. (You see, you ought to be loyal when you’re spending).

But for a fashion obsessed girl there is nothing like a Mango sale and who doesn’t love to flaunt a label which reflects that we after all are the ‘Mango people’ (Aam Admi). “I went totally haywire when I saw the ad in the newspaper. I rushed to the store thinking I will get to shop peacefully but then it was so crowded on the very first day. Though I got what I wanted but then there was a huge queue of girls dying to try their Mango’s. Well it was indeed fun,” says Ankita who shopped till she dropped and went again during the week with her gang of girls.

Name any brand or label and you can find drooling discounts on them. So, if you still haven’t learnt the trick then here it is. ‘Start saving from the month of May, so that you enough bucks to spare and splurge during the shopping fest without feeling a tinge or digging a hole in your pocket’ And don’t we all know that Retail Therapy is best therapy ever and precisely the only therapy we ever understand. Be it Lifestyle, Bangalore Central, Calvin Klein, Benetton,  The Body Shop, Westside, Shopper’s Stop, The Collective, Esprit, Chemistry, Only or Nike you will find your favourite labels here. “I was waiting for the Lifestyle sale which has finally begun and Yippee it’s Saturday I just can’t go and splurge on Benetton and Levis,” says Divya.

Forget the brands that we can afford but July also brings in the joys where you can indulge in something envious and opulent. Yes, even UB City goes the discount way on July offering up 70% discount on labels like Cannali, Jimmy Choo, and Diesel to name  a few. So what are you waiting for…you don’t have to look at the advertisements to know if your shopping hub is on discount or not….Believe us it’s all under reduction. Happy shopping and steal that deal.
