Take it that one - Midnight delivery service
Founders Nikhil Malhotra and Adithya Mallya came up with a random yet intriguing idea to push the boundaries of delivery services in the city, T.I.T.O.
So if you are planning a sleepover or a house party, don’t fret about running out of essentials in the middle of the night. The new website takeitthatone.com will deliver these at your doorstep, post the city’s Cinderella deadline.
With everything just a click away, right from food, water, beverages, cigarettes, medicines, munchies and party essentials, this portal has come to the rescue. “We have friends who work night shifts or stay up late. In Bangalore everything shuts down by 11, hence we thought of starting this service. We never expected it to go viral the way it has though,” says Malhotra. If you live around Indiranagar, Richmond Town, Koramangala, C.V. Ramannagar, B.T.M. Layout and Jayanagar, you can avail of their services at a nominal delivery charge of Rs. 100.
With Nikhil and Adithya being the creative directors, they roped in Suhas Mohan to code the website. It has been a little over a month since the initiative went viral and the response has been overwhelming. Online shopping has come of age in Bangalore, and prompt delivery is the USP. “Since we work 10pm to 4am, we have one less hassle to deal with – Traffic,” claims Suhas. These enterprising young men are busy with their market research initiative during the day and T.I.T.O. after 10pm. With the success they have seen, none of them lack in motivation. And as for the future, the team plans to expand geographically across the suburbs and also incorporate more products to bring all the requirements for the customer at their doorsteps.
