, DV Sadananda Gowda has been chosen as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka. He was elected right after Governor HR Bhardwaj gave a nod for Yeddyurappa's prosecution. Gowda , currently a member of 15th Lok Sabha represents the Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency. In the 2004 election, he was elected from Mangalore. He caught the attention of political bigwigs in June 2007 when he played a pivotal role as an active BJP player and helped in forming their first government south of the Vindyas.

Meanwhile, its celebrations time for Sadananda Gowda’s family. “Throughout his political career, DV has always remained clean. He has given his best for the sake of the party. I am sure he will be one of the best CMs in the state. I pray that he never gets into any scams and continues to live upto his clean image,” said his wife Datty.
