It’s that time of the year again when
witches, ghosts and ghouls come out to play, and all things spooky and creepy rule. Celebrated on October 31, Halloween is regarded more of a Western tradition but of late, everyone seem to have taken to the idea of dressing up in costumes and partying.

Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. In fact, it has long been thought of as a day when the dead return, and ancient Celts would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. Common Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales, and watching horror films.

Chaos....we'll organise it! an event management firm  is organising a frightfully fun Halloween Carnival that will give you a bewitchingly  good time.  They will present their Halloween Carnival at Slaughterville. As the name suggests Slaughterville is a spooky town where ghosts thrive, bats flap about and a haunted house comes alive for all the children of Bangalore to have a ‘spookatacular’ time. The children dressed in their Halloween costumes, will be given free 'spookies' Slaughterville’s currency, at the entrance which they can use to experience the many ghoulish charms of the town.

The myriad of activities include the rescue of vile witches from a twenty feet wall, braving a haunted maze, sitting huddled listening to ghost stories, learning a witch dance and conducting scary science experiments. And for those who prefer activities of a less spine chilling nature there will be a petting zoo with lots of small cuddly animals, craft activities, carnival games, a puppet show, spray on tattoos and a trick or treat stall with more treats than tricks! For the shopaholic mothers there is a bewitching bazaar that they can leisurely browse through.
