Four Seasons wine and exquisite Italian food at Pizza Hut

Bangalore’s wine aficionados can wine and dine not only at fine dining restaurants but also from a fast food chain that specialises in Italianstyle food. Pizza Hut partners with USL to serve India’s most awarded Four Seasons wine at its restaurants

The glitterati of Bangalore shone bright
in all its colors as Pizza Hut celebrated the introduction of wine as part of its fine Italian inspired in collaboration with Four Seasons Wines Limited. The bash that was held at Pizza Hut restaurant in Forum Mall saw the who’s who of the city turn up in all their fine glory. Partnering with Four Seasons Wines Limited (FSWL), part of the UB Group, Pizza Hut will now be serving Four Seasons Wines at select restaurants in Bangalore. 

Sandeep Kataria, CMO, Yum! Restaurants India emphasized that the wine being introduced at Pizza Hut is another step towards strengthening the brand’s promise to provide an enhanced dining experience for its customers. Pizza Hut’s Italian inspired menu consist of a range of authentic pastas, pizzas, drinks, appetizers and desserts using the most fresh and flavorful ingredients which compliment wine very well. This forms the heart of Italian-inspired cooking, creating an experience to be enjoyed by all the senses.

The evening was marked with some exquisite Italian inspired cuisine churned out by Chef Arjyo with some mouthwatering bruschettas & capanies with garlic prawn & sundried tomato pesto and roasted bell peppers with gouda. The Four Seasons wine inspired the chef to create a signature Sangria which was a refreshing treat for the guests and paired well with the classic thin crust pizzas & Aglio Olio pasta.

The guests paired the food with a range of exquisite Four seasons wines- Chenin Blanc, Shiraz & Blush. Pizza Hut’s Chef Arjyo Banerjee and Saanjna Subiah, Training & Activations Manager, Wines talked about pairing various Italian-inspired recipes with wine. Along with the flowing food & wine, the renowned Bangalore based band Retronome had the guests tapping their feet to the light jazz and classic retro hits.

Four Seasons – India’s most awarded wines are produced at the UB Group’s new state-of-the-art winery in Baramati, from French varieties of grapes selected from vineyards in the Sahyadri valley. The wines are crafted by India’s most experience winemaker, Abhay Kewadkar, Chief Winemaker & Director - FSWL, and offer the best expression of Indian varietal Wines.

As part of this exclusive partnership, wines from Four Seasons Wines Ltd. will be introduced in select Pizza Hut restaurants in Bangalore, which consumers can now enjoy with their favorite Tuscani pastas, pizzas and appetizers. The wines will be served both by the bottle and by the glass – starting at Rs. 99/- for a 125 ml glass.

Juxtaposing Pizza Hut with concept of gourmet dining ?  Seriously?  What next, McDonalds offering complimentary Chivas with orders of large fries?  The only spot you're gonna get anything even near authentic pizza around here is Romano's.
