Flamboyant Vijay Mallya always does it in style, this time around it was at the unveiling of the ‘White Mischief Gals’ who will be the cheerleaders of his team – Royal Challengers Bangalore. The cheerleaders plan to take cheerleading to the next level with the IPL season that is scheduled to start from 18th of this month in South Africa. Last year the Bangalore team was represented by the Washington Redskins.
A mix of 14 seasoned cheerleaders from US-based Varsity which is one of the most renowned names in the world of cheerleading. Along with 10 other international cheerleaders who have trained with the Varsity team will tour with the Royal Challengers. This team of 24 cheerleaders who have been christened as the ‘White Mischief Gals’ will provide an exclusive preview of their flirty on-field acts, to the fans all the way from Bangalore to Bloemfontein (South Africa). Yesterday the White Mischief Gals were unveiled to the public for the first time where they performed their cheerleading routine to the media persons present.

At the unveiling, Debashish Shyam, Business Head, United Spirits Limited, said, “White Mischief has always been associated with the concept of flirtatious mischief and the White Mischief Gals are an embodiment of that spirit. The White Mischief Gals have been specially trained in flirty acrobatic skills for a scintillating on-field performance that sets them distinctly apart from any other cheerleading squad. We will hold special previews of their acts for fans at select clubs in Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Lucknow. The entire concept infuses excitement and interactivity to IPL season 2.”

White Mischief Gals will arrive in each city in a specially designed bus with evocative slogans for the fans. The fans have more to cheer as special on-ground promotions will get them branded White Mischief merchandise with flirtatious messages and tips. The final twist in the tale is that the White Mischief Gals are going to select 15 lucky winners through a contest who will fly to South Africa with the White Mischief Gals and get to watch one IPL game. The Gals will also carry a cricket bat with special messages from the RCB fans from all across India to South Africa as well.
The players and the star ambassadors of the Royal Challengers Team were conspicuous by their absence at this high energy unveiling.
