My professional goal is to add visible and measurable value to the business - broadly as a general manager providing strategic vision and operational leadership and specifically as a functional leader developing and executing an effective marketing strategy.

I have 16 years of experience marketing of software products around the world. Prior to Adobe, I worked for Subex, Hughes Software Systems (now Aricent), Verifone India and Wipro in various marketing, business development and program management roles. I earned a MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and an engineering degree from IIT Mumbai.


Director - Marketing,I have always been part of a software product marketing organization that has a global remit but located in India. This unique experience brought me to Adobe. After over 14 years as an enterprise software marketer, I now address the marketing challenges of a different paradigm – desktop software.

The Print and Publishing Business Unit (PPBU) is the only BU at Adobe that is truly centered outside United States – not just engineering but also executive management, product management, etc. As the director of marketing for the US$ 200M~ BU, I am responsible for a number of products that address market opportunities ranging from the diverse publishing needs of technical communicators and e-learning professionals, to Adobe’s legacy type and OEM printing businesses.

Under my leadership, the PPBU product marketing team was successfully transitioned from the US to India. In transitioning the product marketing function to India, I have also successfully transitioned a number of support functions such as creative agency support, inside sales, etc. to India.

2008-2009 has been a period of great learning and significant achievement. Leading my team through this period of unprecedented global recession, I relearned and lived the principles critical to business success – discipline, conviction, innovation and the need for constant education of key stakeholders.
